GCI Asset Management, Inc (GCI AM) was founded in April 2000 in Tokyo as an investment advisory firm focusing on global and alternative investment by a group of dedicated professionals equipped with substantial knowledge and experiences in capital markets, equities, fixed income and foreign exchange, both in Japan and Asia. In November 2004, GCI AM established GCI Investment Management Singapore Pte. Ltd. (GCI IMS) in Singapore to act as the investment manager to all GCI managed funds.
GCI AM places strong emphasis on fiduciary principles that serve to guide its investment process and risk management. This has allowed GCI to establish concrete relationships based on trust with its clients that consist largely of Japanese pension funds, financial institutions and other professionals globally.
GCI AM is registered with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau (Reg No 436) in Japan and is a member of the Japan Securities Investment Advisors Association.
