GCI is an independent asset management firm, which specialises in investing in hedge funds.
Service for institutional investors and corporations
In investing in hedge funds and funds of hedge funds, GCI offers the following services to institutional investors:
Investment Advisory Service
GCI advises on a wide range of issues related to asset management, including fund selection, risk/return analysis and asset allocation.
Investment Discretionary Service
GCI manages clients’ assets on a discretionary basis.

After selecting funds and/or funds of hedge funds to meet the clients’ needs, GCI continues to manage and monitor the portfolio.

GCI Products 1: Fund of Hedge Funds
GCI has been collaborating with alternative investment managers in Europe and the US since January 2002 to manage a couple of in-house funds of hedge funds. We have built a superb performance track record as well as specialised expertise in fund incubation.
Global Fund (Emerging managers)
A fund investing mainly in emerging managers who have strength in a particular area.
GCI launched a fund of funds in April 2006, investing exclusively in the Asia/Pacific region including Japan, where GCI has a wide network and investment expertise.
Asia/Pacific Fund
A fund investing in the Asia/Pacific region, including Japan
GCI Products 2: Single Hedge Fund
In 2003, GCI started single strategy funds, where we build performance track record and accumulated know-how in operations, risk management and incubation.
